Di's Digi Stamps "Rose Bloom Bunny"

Welcome back to Robin's Crafting Nest!

Today I have this adorable image from Di's Digi Stamps called "Rose Bloom Bunny".
I thought this image was just too cute.  I decided to change it up
a little from my normal colors and use yellow for the roses.  It adds a bright
color and helps the bunny to stand out a little more.  I love that he is
holding roses! Since roses come in so many different colors you can
change them to be used for so many different types of cards.

I think I will be using him as an Easter Card this year.

The Stamp Doctor

Welcome back to Robin's Crafting Nest!

Today I am sharing with you my first shaker card!  This was really fun to make.  All the
dies I used on this card are from The Stamp Doctor!  She has a fantastic
line of dies to choose from.

I used 3 different die sets to create my shaker card.  The first Die Set is called
A2 Card Layers #1.  I used this to create by background layers for the card.
This die set makes it so easy to create many different size mattings.  The second Die
set that I used is called Circle Frame Set 1.  I thought this set would be perfect to create the
shaker part of my card.  I used this set to cut out my image, my craft foam to
make a dimensional frame, a cute little frame, and my acetate.  This set comes with
6 different circle shapes which you can use to make all kinds of solid shapes and frames.
The dies cut beautifully through the craft foam and the acetate.  The third die set
is called Tags #1 - Stitched.  I used this set to frame my sentiment.

I love fall leaves so I chose to use an image and sentiment from Penny Black.
The clear stamp set is called Grateful.  This stamp set comes with 4 beautiful
images and 2 fantastic sentiments.

Copic Markers Used:

Leaves: YG17, Y13, Y15, Y19, YR23, YR24, YR27

Your Next Stamp Autumn Leaves

Welcome back to Robin's Crafting Nest!

I love all things fall!  The cooler weather, the changing leaves, and
getting pumpkins at the pumpkin patch.  When I saw this adorable fall
stamp from Your Next Stamp I knew I had to color it.  I just love the cute
puppy and birds along with the fantastic fall leaves.  The stamp set is called
Autumn Leaves and it was a great way to practice coloring the fur on the puppy.

I also used some fantastic dies from The Stamp Doctor.  Here I am using her
A2 Card Layers #1 dies.  These dies create the perfect A2 sized card layer and when
used with the smaller dies creates a 1/8" matting.  It make cutting out my layers so easy now.
I am going to get so much use out of this die set.  There is also a coordinating die
set called A2 Card Layers #2 dies which when combined creates 1/16" matting.

The Passionate Paper Creations Design Team has teamed up with
Make It Crafty this week to work on a fun challenge.

want to ruin my beautifully colored image.  It was good to try something
new and to challenge myself as a copic marker artist.  I am
very happy with how they all came out and tried them with a few different colors.

Di's Digi Stamps Candle Light Mice

Welcome back to Robin's Crafting Nest

This week I created a card that I have never tried before.  I made a Double Gate Fold Card.

I started with 2 pieces of white cardstock that were 8 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches.

I used my Scor-Pal and scored both pieces of cardstock at 2 1/8 inches and at 4 1/4 inches.
Adhere the two large 4 1/4 inch sections together and fold on the score lines to get the Double Gate Fold.  See picture below to see what the fold will look like.

Now that I have my Double Gate Fold Card I needed to decorate it.

I started with the adorable image from Di's Digi Stamps called "Candle Light Mice".  I thought these two were just adorable.  I colored the image with my Copic Markers and then cut die cut it with my Double Stitched Circles dies.  Which gave me this adorable round image to use.

I felt like the inside of the card needed a little something extra.  I decided to use my new Nuvo Aqua Flow Watercolor pens to create a watercolor background and my Dancing Snowflake Frame to frame the sentiment from Power Poppy's Peony Muse stamp set "Sending Love and Light Your Way".  I thought the sentiment went so well with this image because they are lighting the candle.

Double Gate Fold image so you can see how the card folds.

Copic Markers used are:

Mice: E31, E33, E35, E57, E79, R81, E51, E53
Holly Leaves: G24, G28, G29
Holly Berries: R24, R29, R59
Candle: E41, E42, E43, E50
Candle Light: YR15, Y00, Y18, Y21
